Mallorca - A Rustic Shoot
I love these images of the bouquet I made while assisting Katie of Ponderosa & Thyme at her Mallorca workshop. The reason I love them so much is because they involve some of my favourite wedding/flower friends from around the world. Mallorca is also my favourite place in the world - my husband and I go every year and have dreams of opening a 'cycling' meets 'flower school' meets 'dog rescue centre' meets 'boutique hotel'... One day...
Maria Marin who assisted alongside me and is my Mexican sister!
Maria Lamb who I roomed with and is the most amazing photographer and friend from afar.
Beautiful, beautiful Anna of Inflorium who blew us all away when she put on this dress after being so humble and not revealing her amazing past life as a top model!
And of course Mark and Katie of Ponderosa & Thyme who I know I can call up at anytime if I need to.
My one regret from Mallorca is not pinching this gorgeous Silk and Willow ribbon....
When making this bouquet I really wanted to be inspired by the land around us in the Spanish Finca where we were staying. I foraged a lot of the ingredients and focused on texture and neutral tones to reflect the stone and olive groves where we were staying.
